Using EPROMs as simple PLA devices

Hi All,

I've seen several projects that use EPROMs as a PLA with 8-outputs and 12+
inputs. Are there any problems with the outputs transiently being the wrong
value if the /CS line is always active and the inputs (addresses) toggled.
By wrong I mean invalid, rather than some propagation delay.

I'm thinking of using one as a sequencer with the lower 3-4address connected
to a 74193 counter Qb,Qc,Qd running at 8MHz (C64 dot-clock). Hence I figure
the 120ns EPROM will handle addresses changing at 4MHz.

Regards,
Nick
