This may not apply, but thing you may want to check is the speed
designation of each chip:

6545  =   1 MHz = 6845
----  = 1.5 MHz = 68A45
6545A =   2 MHz = 68B45
6545B =   3 MHz = ----

So if you were putting a 6845 in a system that had a 6545A, there will be
a speed problem.
