I partly agree. My personal reason: my 1541IDE where I replaced the 
FDD with an IDE HDD or CF card. And here I would welcome a newer 
board with more 32 KB of ROM and at least 4 KB of RAM.

Never heard of it and I'm interested. Google just came up with
