I use the 48Mhz mode on the U64 Elite with Megapatch and the 16MB expansion to create a kind of usable workstation environment that can do modern work. I use the Mouster to use a modern wireless laser mouse with GEOS64/MP3.3, so I wouldn’t mind doing the same stunt without unusual file format challenges. I like the idea of modern applications using more transportable fuel formats on the machine.

But what about making the Commodore computers work as if they were computers of 2021?

Why? They're not.
