Hi Bo,

I would also be interested if anyone knows why 901465-01 and 901465-02 are
in the option ROM sockets of the SuperPET. I have one that has the same
BASIC 2 ROMs in the option ROMs and they are genuine.

I did some hunting around and in a Commodore MicroComputer magazine issue
19, there is a QA section for SuperPETs and this was noted:

*ROM Protected Software *
*If you are having problems using ROM protected software (three board
version SuperPET), your dealer has a "ROM Select Modification Kit' - (P/N
9000029). It's free. *

I think that might have added the extra side switches that was for UD11 and
UD12 as shown here?

There is no mention of these switches in the SuperPET Overview manual that
I have so if Commodore provided a solution, the option ROM sockets must
have been full and required. This is conjecture but if anyone else has any
ideas, it would help solve this mystery.
