Hi Mike,
I bought in the U.S.A. Ray Carlsens power sources that are better than the
stock C64 power sources,
I have used this with my Ramlink and I really havent noticed any Data
loss. I really dont use the Battery backup for the
Ramlink was that mainly what you meant?
So I guess I really havent tested that.
The Ramlink is also compatible with GEOS,Wheels and Megapatch as far as
creating the DACC partitions to use that RAM as the
actual memory expansion, in doing this I really havent had any problems at
all.
The DACC software at least the one that came with my Ramlink seems to have
a bug it will create the DACC but when it does that
it has a syntax error in the program so have you ever tried the DACC
partitions and the syntax error?
I scored my Ramlink on Ebay in early 2008 got a really good deal on it.
The only other problem brought out in the Ramlink users manual is the
jumper clip that has to be installed or it
will cause lockups, but I setup the jumper and it works quite well. Of
course the jumper clip is different on the
breadbin 64, C64C and the 128D.
Overall I really like what you can do with the Ramlink but its a good think
I scored my when I did people seem to be hanging onto them
these days.
I configured mine with 16mb of Ram.
The Ramlink also seems to behave okay with the Super CPU as well.

Thanks,
Terry
