Hi Terry,

Verilog is very easy. I have learnt C language and VHDL at the university
but changed from VHDL to verilog because in my opinion it is much more
readable and understandable. Probably it is due to my C language background.
If you would like to program FPGAs then I recommend you to read the book
"FPGA Prototyping By Verilog Examples" from Pong P. Chu. I have learnt it
from there plus the web using Xilinx ISE.
Python is much more for network engineers (like me) to create automatized
scripts.
