Doh, I was looking at the 2x price not the single. I’d probably still go for the V6 since with the ability to store multiple virtual SCSI drives on an SD, or on multiple SDs, means that it could be handy to swap into other old machines that support SCSI-2 FAST or better (like the PowerMac 9600 I have a V5.something in).  If you don’t really have anything like that then yeah, it’s hard to image the CMD will stress the performance of the V5.x boards
