Too much bouncing between dissimilar vintage machines and languages. Thanks for keeping me honest. So, the bigger question is: Why does a write of the D64 file back to a diskette have a difference in only one small region? Does the 4040 drive re-write any of the housekeeping areas on close of the direct-command channel? The target seems to end up with its original volume name even though I'd expected the copy operation to overwrite it. -- Sent from: http://cbm-hackers.2304266.n4.nabble.com/Received on 2020-11-02 23:01:12
