It's not my code - ask William for details (see the ticket on SF). Perhaps the
CPU is in 2Mhz mode when you run the test? Perhaps the CIA needs some more
reset/setup code when you test it in the drive? Did you make sure not to
introduce page-boundary crossings which might disturb the timing?

I am pretty sure that whenever you make the statement "I am right and the
entire industry is wrong." you are, in fact, the one who is wrong. Unless your
