The only person who I know that could fear is Gideon with his Ultimates. Not for the hardware but for the ROMs. But if needed he can sell the stuff without ROM images and the owner is instructed how to upload them himself.

The initial question was about the brand and its usage. I think Jens fits into this category, so do people selling the cases (not sure if/how they are affiliated with him).

When Tulip bought Commodore, I asked the involved persons if they had the rights of the ROMs as well and the answer was "no". But they were busy obtaining them. A year later they still hadn't the rights but even didn't know who had them.

And years later we still don't really know. Ramen.
