B series jiffy clock

Is the variable, TI, the jiffy clock on the B series computers.  Someone
told me it was not (I don't remember who).  I recently received a copy of
the B Series Users Guide.  It says TI is the jiffy clock, but counts in
1/10 seconds instead of 1/60 seconds.

Which is correct?
