Yes, I even own none. But I always prefer things that I built or programmed myself. And for the fun of doing it.

I always like to keep my projects cheap and accessible. In this case I can use the Mega for other, completely different, projects as well. Something that is hardly possible for the PetSD. In case of my CBM-HD you can use a PC as an IEEE drive but also as.... PC.
One of the reasons that I like to do this project: a Mega is a bit less bulky than a PC.
