I plugged in one of my SFD-1001's for the first time in probably 15 years
last night and it was doing the 5-blink thing. I swapped the 6530 out from
my other SFD-1001 and confirmed that I have a defective 6530. :( I took a
look at Ruud's web page where he made a 6530 replacement board. Awesome
work!

Has anyone else tried Ruud's 6530 replacement? It looks like he is sold out
of the boards, but he was kind enough to post his Eagle schematics. I have
never had circuit boards made before, is it as simple as uploading the Eagle
files to some manufacturer and having the boards created?

Thanks,
/Raj

Then may I point you to:

   http://www.baltissen.org/newhtm/6530repl.htm

The card only costs 4 Euro + P&P. You have to provide the parts yourself
but, if you want to, I can sell you a 6532 as well.
