 The Buscard version 1 was cloned by Dave Buchan. I have one and it works well. Schematics etc are available here:

Most printers provided Epson and/or Proprinter emulation.

Connecticut micro (CmC) made several versions for the IEEE bus while Batteries Included's BUS Card was probably the best known for the C64; there was talk of cloning it, was that ever done?
