You can use an IRQHack64, it's open source and not so hard to build one.
The BOM is merely,

- A cheap arduino pro mini module
- An sd card module
- A 27C512 eprom
- 1 Tactile button, a led and resistor

Serial interface on the arduino pro mini can be used either through a
Usb2Ttl adapter or a bluetooth module, with the latter you can send
programs to C64 wireless.

I did make a variant of it that uses an ESP8266 module but that
project has stalled long time ago. With this version it's also
possible to load stuff from internet... In the video I build a
program, send it to a ftp site and instruct the cartridge to download
it.
