Oh, I know. But then, rebooting an Amiga with a HD to boot from took 
less than a minute so it was something I could put up with.

My A1200 with with a CF card connected to the IDE port and 68030-28 
takes less than 10 seconds from power on to desktop ready. It boots my 
old environment from the 90s.
