The PS/2 gets a bad press, but it's rather undeserved.

The PC clones adopted quite a few things from the PS/2 anyway, they just 
didn't skipped Micro Channel Architecture because of patents.

But MCA was pretty awesome compared to ISA.

It seems that IBM sucks because they didn't design something good and 
give it away for free.
