Except the BIOS, there isn't any software around that needs the original 6525. The only software that is around at all is the original MSDOS 1.25. And Michał already proofed that 3.21 runs w/o any problem. So any software that runs on the original card should run on the 8255 card as well. I don't see _any_ reason why it shouldn't.
