This is not about processing mailing lists on the client side.  As you
say, the List-Id: header works fine for that (and there are several other
options).

This is about the mailing list software *rewriting the email*, changing
the displayed addressees.  It should not, doing this is lying, it causes
more problems than it solves (it solves nothing, so that is obvious).

And again, thank you for running this!  It all works fine now as far
as I see (well, "religious" wars about Reply-To: notwithstanding: as
everyone knows that header is just terribly misguided and your MUA
should ignore it when doing reply-to-sender :-) )
