Thanks for the file! Ya it's too much hassle downloading and installing an app to view rarely used file formats ;-)
So, using my CBM-Transfer, I disassembled the ROM and it appears to be a good dump. You can see the assembler opcodes in there. I didn't see any identifying strings or copyrights unless they're encoded. The ROM is definitely for the $9000 option ROM socket. I used the "platform identifier" and determined there are no jumps into BASIC ROM area, so this probably works on new and old PETs and could probably be adapted to other CBM machines.
While disassembling I actually found some bugs in my CBM-Transfer program, so I fixed them. CBM-Transfer version 1.04c can now be downloaded from my GitHub.
