Doesn't matter.  Those are standard 9 track tapes.  If they're not 
shedding the binder, they can be read.  If they were written on a VAX, 
it's likely they were using a TS-05, TU-81+, or similar to write the data. 
There's still a ton of those still in existance as well as the VAXen 
they're connected to.
