Mysterious IEEE device #5

Hello!

Disassembling the 6509 code for the 8088 card, I found three functions
callable form the 8088:

13 - write character to device #4 (with exception for character 0A)
14 - write character to device #5
15 - read character from device #5

I was always under impression that devices #4 and #5 are printers. But
then, what are we supposed to read from the printer? What this
mysterious device #5 could be?
