Thank you - it looks like a very valuable document when you want to
write a PC BIOS emulator :-)

But this bringa an important question: which level of compatibility do
we need to achieve? PC, XT or AT? On one hand, lowering the level will
limit the number of applications that can run, but on the other hand,
writing the emulation layer would be much easier. I suppose, AT is out
of the question as the underlying processor is not an 80286 anyway. But
should we go for XT or just the PC?

The question is, what is the minimum machine MS-DOS 2.0 can run on? Can
it run on the original PC (I suppose so) or does it require XT? What
about DOS 3.x, which I think is the highest we can reasonably go - can
it run on an original PC?

Regards,
Michau.
