I never got around to completing the protocol translator for the serial bus. And nowadays there is sd2iec, so there is little motivation to continue. In my case it was (and is) not a substitute for the C2N232. I needed several devices on the SERIAL and to test the software there was no easier and faster way than pressing SHIFT+RUN/STOP on the CBM followed by a click on the current machine to build the project and send the file over for execution. So, even if there are other options - I still find this one to be the most efficient when dealing with testing on the real hardware. -- SD!
