The 6509 is missing some signals that the 6502 has. It also reserves
memory locations $00 and $01 for memory segment management. If your
application/device is using these signals or memory locations, 6509 will
not work as a drop replacement for 6502. Otherwise, if you ignore the
A16-A19 lines, it should be compatible.
