Hi Ruud,
I use my smartphone a lot; all of your site versions are unusable on small displays.

You say it's cold but I actually prefer white backgrounds over distracting and disturbing patterns that interfere with text.

I develop sites, mostly technical, and I really like Bootstrap. It's basically a set of classes to easily create responsive sites. Very minimal look, clean code, and easy to learn.
