I keep thinking the same but they seem to appreciate faster than my wealth is growing :-)

If you have a 1581 or an A500 with working drive, which I assume you do, you can connect the known-to-work drive there. Unless you have to keep the C65 closed and untouched in case of the refund/whatever.
