Yep, pretty common at one time. I might still have one here somewhere.

Whilst I love the true C= 8 bitters my recollection of Commodore PC 
ownership is that Commodore made a bunch of frustratingly proprietary PC 
semi-compatibles that often wouldn't play nice with standard expansion 
cards.
