All the projects I found are using analog switch so I moved to this solution
I found 3 chips, this one is different

my goal is not to reinvent the wheel but to use my usual keyboard with
my old machines
and avoid piecing holes in an old case to insert an usb connector

actually I'm looking for something more recent than the 8808ae but
difficult to find 8x8 matrix DIL or PLCC

initially I was thinking to use a CPLD but they are more expensive and
need a programmer

I'm not planning to produce a product but make the resources available
PCB from oshpark arduino mini + hc05 from china (ebay) really cheap
(mt8808ae from utsource) (if I dont find a smaller chip)
windows application available from a web site (with the source code)

(later standalone controller based on vinculum II)
