ok, I ordered, thank

I'm repairing a machine (sold as dead) but I know the vendor has a
limited experience
and generally just vampirise the chips on socket (or swap them to see if
the machine is starting)

(on this board all chip were soldered except the 6581 (vampyrised) and
the 6569 + timing chip)

the symptoms:

black screen but a few pixels on the left with the color of the c64 border

I tried a cartridge with a reset button (KCS power cartridge)

by pressing the reset button (1 out of 10) I get a screen
not readable but I can recognize the power cartridge menu and some texts

so I guess the 6569 is working and the 6510 too

I checked Ray Carslon web site but I've not found these symptoms (or I
misread)

my next try will be to change the PLA

any other idea ?

thanks
