Both the Batteries Included Buscard I or II IEEE interface, and BI-80 80-column cartridges included BASIC4. I don't know if they are emulated in VICE.

The BASIC rom is pretty full, you'd probably have to start ditching 
devices from the kernel to make it work (tape + rs232 etc).
