Assuming that the $400 refer to the XRGB Mini, you're probably
right. Based on the serial number of mine (around 2800) I would guess
that it's sold only in very small numbers - the release was sometime in
late 2011 (first firmware update is dated 2011-12-22) and my box reports
a production date of 2013-01-13, so I would guess about 2500 units per

The main chip in there (a Marvell Qdeo video processor) is usually only
seen in high(er) end AV receivers or BD players (e.g. Oppo BDP-93), so
that part probably isn't cheap by itself either.
