You probably didn't fix them completely, but enough. The VSP problem is 
due to the VIC driving the dram out of spec, which causes the analogue 
characteristics of the DRAM chips to come into play. There seems to be a 
common behaviour, which can crash but most software doesn't because it 
doesn't trigger it because the original programmer would have received 
the crash too.

As long as you can make your c64 behave ok in the situations where the 
programmers c64 behaved ok then you're fine.

It's worth running the Safe VSP demo and turning off the repair with 
shift-lock.
