My SuperPet has always had an intermittant power problem. Whenever it
accured, I pressed on the connectors of the power cable that goes from the
6809 board to the main system board, and it went away, at least for a
while. Today the power went out completely. When I looked at the cable,
I found that one of the wires in the power cable had pulled out. I took
the pin out of the connector and attempted to recrimp the wire in the
connector. I did not hold. There was not enough bare wire for the
connector to crimp on. Stripping more insulation off the wire gave me
enough bare wire to crimp and have it hold.

The point of this is that I have never worked on this connector. It had
to have been an original manufacturing defect. If you have intermittent
power problems on the SuperPet, check this cable.
