It does. Basically only e. g. some Linux specific stuff is not available by default. Most of generic Unix/Linux/BSD stuff is there.

NAME
       cmp - compare two files byte by byte

DIFF(1)
NAME
       diff - compare files line by line

But diff can be used as well.
