In my particular case I used the Bulgarian chip in a VIC-20. Viznut's 
demos, which hit the hardware pretty hard and I think use undocumented 
opcodes,  worked fine where they certainly did not when I swapped in a 
65c12 (salvaged from a BBC Master System).

I would be interested in the results of a dedicated CPU test however.
