I should maybe create a new hierarchy, e.g. /pub/cbm/pcb, for that, or create "pcb" subdirectories for each "schematics" subdirectory that has board scans. And re: JPEG file size: yes, the color information is compressed more than the brightness information. The color information uses a 8 by 8 grid at least in some JPEG modes.
