Hallo allemaal, Frank and Robin, thanks for your efforts. I connected my LPT-port directly to the 6522 and wrote a little ML-program. I got 16 ms. The reason that I wanted to know this number is to find out if I have enough time to read up to 7700 bytes from the HD in a reserved array of memory. With 15 ms this means the HD must be capable of transferring ~500 KB/sec. I don't know if I'm right but a normal IDE-drive can handle this number.
