The 8280 and 9060/9090 ROMs are almost identical. There are a few bytes of code added here and there. Most of the differences are due to the changed addresses from the few truly different bytes. There are only 2 major differences: The 9060/9090 ROM has a section of code at FB1C-FB38 that is not in the 8280 ROM. The rest of the code in the 8280 is moved down (or the 9060/9090 is moved up) in memory. The 8280 ROM has a routine at DA22-DA4A that appears to be a patch. The 9060/9090 ROM has fill characters a those locations. These two sets of ROMs do not appear to be patched versions of each other, but separate systems assembled from slightly different versions of the same source code.
