Doesn't it have a spare parallel port on one VIA?  Connect the MP3 player
module to that port.  Then you could just do OPEN1,8,15,"P:FILE.MP3" to
play a file while the rest of the system is available for other uses, like
decoding JPEG files from another disk drive. :-)
