Does JiffyDOS speed up reading/writing or only LOAD/SAVE? I am looking for a solution that would allow me to save large files to Jiffy enabled drives. By “large” I mean that they are bigger than available RAM so must be processed and saved in chunks. On IDE64 there is a superfast WRITE call that does what I need. Is something similar possible with JiffyDOS drives? Also, looking for a standalone Jiffy protocol implementation I found this: http://www.c64-wiki.com/index.php/SJLOAD/SJLOAD.ASM but doesn’t seem to find the SAVE counterpart, even if it’s been mentioned in some discussion threads. Does anyone know of its whereabout? Regards, -- SD! Message was sent through the cbm-hackers mailing listReceived on 2013-11-11 00:00:03
