The boxes you got were Hardbox, from the same company Small Systems
Engineering (SSE). Mike N already knows about them, and I sent him a broken
one that he managed to restore. IIRC, the differences between Hardbox and
Softbox is the ROM content and that the Softbox has a RS232 interface, but
the Softbox CP/M software works even without the RS232?

What I'd like to see is a daughterboard that lets you externally switch
between Hardbox and Softbox mode, perhaps utilizing one larger EPROM chip.

The Swedish firm (BDE ?) mentioned on the boxes was the importer of SSE as
well as the Corvus hard drives. From what I understand, the Hardbox
interface is not a Corvus product, but a SSE product designed to be used
with a Corvus drive.
