Hello,

today I received a packet that contains my latest Ebay find. It's a
collection of different CSG/MOS-ICs, mostly Amiga stuff, maybe leftovers
from a repair shop. But there are also some C64 chips among them (sadly
no SIDs).

One of them stands out, it's a (working) CPU for the C64 with the
following markings:

C= CSG
6510 CBM
4392 16

I thought the 6510 was replaced with the 8500 around 1986/87? Or did MOS
just stamp '6510' on a 8500 for people who insisted on the 6510?

The whole bag of chips was only 30 Euros. If only a quarter of them
work, it's still a bargain. :)

  Gerrit
