This seems to be a good choice.

I will read it carefully and will try figure out any disadvantages for our purposes, if any.

Anyone any other license suggestions? Pros? Cons?

Everyone who contributes to this lib needs to accept the license, so we should find one which fits everyones needs as best as possible.

Maybe a bsd license could be as good as lgpl for us. I will have a look.
