I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry about that last one.

I also tried contacting Sullins Microplastics (www.sullinscorp.com) about custom manufacturing. They claim on their website to be able to make anything. I sent them photos and exact measurements but they just kept asking me simple questions - how many pins?, does it look like this one that's in our catalog?, would this one work instead?, etc. When I finally got them to read my original email, they said they would be making no bid. So frustrating.

So, does anyone have any leads on other companies that do custom made connectors? I think that's the route I'm going to have to go.

Thanks,
Wayne

These are the type of connectors that are used in the cartridge port of the C16 and Plus/4 (and the C65 prototype). I've searched through Digikey's website and every other site Google has suggested, but I have not been able to find anything. Does anyone have any leads?
