Does that matter? The first (hundreds of) micro seconds will be 
reset time anyway. And both FF1 and FF2 will be (re)set during the 
first CLKs.

Little knowledge is sometimes worse then no knowledge at all. But I 
understand that the output of this OLMC FF is updated by the signal 
on the CLK input. If this is, thinking in 6502 terms, PHI0, I have a 
problem: that is certainly not accurate enough. 
I could add an extra oscilator with a higher frequency but that 
doesn't seem appropiate IMHO.

Unless you can proof me wrong by giving a design that does the same 
as the 7 NAND gates one, I'll stick to my, or better, Martin's 
design.
