Do you mean hardware for substituting SRAM for ROM? Or substituting
Flash for ROM? I have the latter done, but for the exact reasons you
mention (CS not active on write) I use a small overlay on the SID chip
to steal the R/W signal and $D600-$D7FF address space to operate the
Flash. Plus one small CPLD.
