In "2.2 Reverse engineering history", you describe that the earliest
full reverse engineering seems to be done in 1986.

The german "64 intern" already contained a full reverse engineering of
the equations, as I wrote before, even in this ML:

Yes, there were errors in the table, but once you look at the table, the
errors are obvious. (I do not have the book in front of me ATM, so I
cannot tell for sure which columns were intermixed).

I am refering to the 3rd edition of that book from 1983.
