This guy has a lot of cbm tape utils (see link below)
I've never used any of them so I cannot tell you anything about their 
value in real life scenarios... :-)

Also the OpenCBM project development branch recently got added tape 
support made by Arnd Menge - you can see the page that Arnd put up about 
a year ago:

My best guess would be that you would be able to buy a zoomtape 
extension unit at some point in time from a guy we all know (not 
mentioning any names) - or you could build one from the schematics above 
- assuming that you already own a ZoomFloppy unit ;-)
